I bought this docking station because I was seriously missing ports on my laptop. I have a 13-inch HP Specter Touch laptop with a very thin profile that's easy to carry. The only drawback is the lack of connections on the laptop. This dock added versatility to the existing USB-C connection on my laptop. I was able to use the docking station to connect another computer monitor to my laptop. This allowed me to switch to two screens, an extended desktop. It also has a mini SD card connector. You can never have enough storage space. Finally, I considered connecting external speakers to the docking station.
