Review on Panasonic SDR-S70S Camcorder (Silver) (Discontinued By Manufacturer) by Alexander Scharon

I'm amazed at how light this camera is but it takes decent pictures. I wanted something inexpensive at a good price and it meets my needs. There is no built-in backlight, which is its main downside. It uses an SD card that goes into a slot on my laptop. There is also a mini USB port. The image viewing screen is bright even in daylight. The sound is ok for viewing recordings. There is an audio/video jack and I think the cable is included. It comes with a nice user manual, which is good because there are some very nice features. You must use the screen when taking photos, there is no eye viewer here. Decent shots are possible during the day, but the quality is lower indoors. I keep it in my bag when fishing and am not disappointed with the results. It's so light I usually forget it's there. I would buy it again. No problems, no complaints except for the lack of light. Good replacement for my old Sony 8mm tape.
