Reading this will save you a lot of time and nerves.

To set up this printer: 1) Unpack and make sure you have all the listed items in the box including the software CD. 2) Follow the instructions to set up your wireless network as you don't have a CD drive. 3) Make sure the wireless network setup does not work as the instructions apply to several different printers and there is no "Setup Wizard" in the menu of this printer. It's only on CD. 3) Drive across town and borrow a portable CD drive from friends. 4) Install the CD-ROM drive software on your computer. 5) Run the CD to the point where it asks you to connect the printer to your computer with an A-to-B USB cable, not the usual one. 6) Call other friends until you find someone who has A-to-B because it's not in the parts list and it's not in the box. 7) Drive the other way through town to rent the cable. 8) Connect the printer and computer with a cable. (You may have to move furniture and/or get under tables as this is not a wireless method.) 9) Run the CD again and allow the printer driver to be installed on your computer. It actually works. 10) Run everything again, this time to select the correct wireless network. Quite easy. 11) Try not to print a test page. 12) Call Brother Technical Support. they are closed 13) Go back to step 8, try a few more times, enough to get frustrated. 14) Pack the printer, print out the return label, take it to the post office, wish "Hasta La Vista, Baby". 15) Drive 35 miles to and from your friend's house on your way home to return the CD and cable. 16) Stop at a bar and drink enough beer so you don't kick your dog when you get home. It is not his fault. 17) Go online and order an HP printer.
