I will confess that I usually use pharmacy brand mascara so the price of this mascara is a bit higher than what I am used to. However, I was drawn to the fact that it is hypoallergenic and doesn't contain many of the questionable ingredients found in other products. Over the years my eyes have become very sensitive so I can only tolerate hypoallergenic eye products and there aren't many options with cheaper brands. This mascara comes with a flexible silicone brush applicator. It is easy to apply and lays on evenly without forming lumps. It makes my lashes longer. The mascara is a little runny so I have to be very careful before it dries or it tends to transfer to other parts of my face where I don't want it (especially when I blink). Once the mascara has dried, this is no longer a problem. The mascara is easy to apply and lasts all day. Plus, it doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes! At the end of the day, it's going to be a little difficult to wash off, but not so much that it's impossible. This is definitely one of the best mascaras I've ever used!
