Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fantastic value for money.

Update: Since buying these headphones I've found others in the same vein that sound better - at least to my ears. CCA C12 is still of great value. But other Chi-Fi IEMS that cost less and sound better are KZ ED16, TRN V90 and Revonext QT5. ED16 and QT5 are particularly cheap. I've had quite a few pairs of IEMs. Rockits, UE and SHURE with BA solutions. I also had dynamic driver models from V-Moda and Hifi Man. I had a hybrid solution from 1more. These are the equal or best of all of these solutions at a fantastic price. I took them and used silicone earbud molds to make my own cIEMs. I haven't used them for about a week and they were quite large and the bottom seemed to rub against my ear and after a while they caused discomfort. These are the biggest headphones I've ever used, but at the same time one of the best sounding. To me it's pretty neutral and a little V-shaped. Everything is there, but nothing is exaggerated. They cost a little more from Revain than if you order them from a Chinese supplier, but I knew this was happening and basically paid $10-$15 more to get them in 2 days instead of waiting. in the month. However, I still prefer to reach for the Sennhesier Momentum or AT-M70x when it doesn't matter how I look when recording or mixing. The pods still sound better and are more comfortable, although the wearing comfort of the in-ear headphones is now thanks to a special silicone solution that I'm still perfecting. I continue to use a Dremel-like tool to adjust and shape the areas that aren't causing discomfort. I know I've put them on correctly when they don't hurt, and pushing them further into my ear doesn't change the sound.
