The case itself is well built. Time will tell how long this will take, but so far everything is working great. My iPad Air fits very well in this case. The keyboard is smooth, which goes very well with the aesthetics that Apple products usually bring. Unfortunately, the keyboard is firmly integrated into the case, so it cannot be removed. While it would be nice to be able to take it off when I don't need it, I don't think it's a big deal and an extra travel case would solve that problem. The keyboard is very easy to connect and connects very quickly at startup. high. While I don't personally use an iPad, I haven't noticed much input lag in the short time I've been using it. Other reviewers have a better understanding of any latency issues. Before purchasing I bought another case but had to return it as it used an old micro USB port for charging. This one uses USB-C, though. That was important because I didn't want to carry around an extra cable, which will become increasingly difficult to find as people move to devices that use USB-C or Thunderbolt 3. All in all, I'm not a fan of overpaying for accessories, so this is a great buy if you plan to use your iPad as a laptop. It's pretty cool to be able to turn an iPad into a laptop and I hope it makes a great replacement for my wife's aging Macbook.
