My Yorkshire Terrier became very ill after eating Primal Freeze Dryed Raw. This was supposed to be the third bag I bought but she developed severe diarrhea while continuing to eat from the second bag. My vet said that all raw foods contain bacteria and that freeze drying doesn't kill them. Dogs that do well on raw food are able to eliminate bacteria naturally but not all dogs can, my dog is 6 years old weighs only 6lbs and has never had diarrhea prior to this food. My poor dog lost up to 5 pounds in 4 days! I tried to return this bag unopened but the manufacturer didn't accept it. I think the manufacturer should warn about this on the packaging and in advertising. In fact, you could feed your dog E. coli raw food! Not only did I lose $30.99 on this bag of food, I also lost over $150.00 in vet bills and nearly lost my beloved pet!
