I very much doubted the desiccant balls would fit. But I decided to give them a chance. What could be worse? They don't work and I'm sending them back. I could buy a set of dry balls for less but my wife loves penguins. So I figured it would appeal to her visually. Anyway, we tried them as soon as we got them. Used it to dry 3 loads of laundry that day. I noticed a slightly shorter drying time. And our clothes were completely dried and fluffed up a bit. We used to have chilly spots after the dryer finished and we had to move the clothes around and dry them a little longer. With the help of a dryer ball, they scattered the clothes and let them dry completely and faster. I used them again for our bedding almost a week later. Worked like a charm as advertised. I've only had them for a few weeks and have used them for about 8 loads of laundry. So far, so good. I can't say more yet.
