Over the years I have spent way too much money on massagers of one type or another that do not meet the advertised specifications. I have several of these massagers of different sizes; One has been a favorite for four years as it's the most powerful I've ever had and it has 8 speeds with solid vibration. This. This one on low is like my favorite on medium high! It's only 1 1/2 inches longer than my old one and almost impossible to take. My other half used to joke that I need massagers with starting power, although I do complain about the lack of strong vibrations. Seriously, I'll have to use a fabric barrier to get used to the first setting. short break from the intense stimulation. I usually reach for wands with more than 3 fixed speeds, but I was too curious about the power of this one to turn it down. To say this wand gets the job done is an understatement. For a performance like this device it is surprisingly quiet and the vibration is very gentle, I can use it next to my husband while he is sleeping and not disturb him. it really makes a noticeable and pleasant difference. I like that the buttons are made of hard plastic and are easy to press in the dark. This got me a little concerned about the waterproofing at first, but the silicone around them seems to provide a good seal, and thorough washing as many times as I've done hasn't caused any issues. I have other massagers that accept the same type of charging pin and I thought they were all the same, but oddly this charging pin is a millimeter longer than my others. Battery life and charge times seem average at the moment and I'm happy with their performance. The neck is stiffer than any of my other sticks and I prefer it that way. Some of them are too flexible to stay in the sweet spot, this one has just the right amount of flex and resistance. This wand had no smell and the silicone is so velvety soft. It's easy to hold and I like the vertical ribs along the stem for a better and more comfortable grip. If you use this wand as a body massager (for once lol) it's great. It quickly deals with the kinks and knots that build up in my shoulders, and when I recently hyperextended my legs, only a massager helped - others just aren't strong enough for the area. My percussion massager is too rough, when the thigh muscles are as sore as they were then, they become so sensitive to pressure that the percussion hurts. This is exactly what was needed and helped reduce recovery time. My other wands have certain qualities that I sometimes prefer, but when I need something really powerful, I tend to go with this one. It's hard to find really powerful wands, and copycats are everywhere, but this one is legit.
