OMG. Just buy it. We just moved into an apartment with a screw on drain plug and it slowly started draining. We removed it and found half the old tenants' hair there. Removing this stock takes time, so I was looking for something that might solve the problem before it becomes a problem. We have a Sink Shroom in our sink (due to the same issue) and we love it, but had to remove the plug to make it work. We weren't entirely sure if removing the tub drain would be a great solution as we might want to soak at some point and the crossbar for the tub seemed a little flat so we found this one. I've just taken my first shower with the device installed (if you can put a rubber band on something, you can install it) and I'm writing this review while still in a towel. I'm very impressed and hope the inventor of this thing spends his days in wealth and luxury. That's great.
