It was totally useless, it was supposed to glow red when the controller needed charging, instead when I put the controller on it both lights were green meaning the controller was fully charged. This meant I had no way of determining whether or not the controller was actually charging. I would definitely not buy from this company again. There's an old adage that definitely applies here: let the buyer beware.
