Review on 💪 Misfit Ray - Carbon Black Fitness and Sleep Tracker with Stylish Leather Band by Nathan Vaughn

I first ordered a Fitbit for my wife but found it didn't "sync" with the Samsung Galaxy S8. I then ordered her Misfit which "synced" with her phone and worked like clockwork for about 1 week. All restart attempts following the instructions on the Misfit website failed and the only remaining solution was replacing the batteries (which were supposed to last 6 months). I could NOT find the correct size batteries (3 #393 batteries) in my area and had to order them through Revain. When they arrive we will see if this incredible effort was worth it or if, like the FitBit, this item needs to be returned. My advice: make sure you have those hard-to-find batteries before you order. I will post an update when the batteries arrive. Addendum: Batteries came, replaced. The original batteries only had a service life (in the device) of 1 week instead of the advertised 6 months. Changing the battery was tedious and time-consuming, requiring multiple reboots and password resets. Ultimately, the password had to be reset on a different device than the one set up to sync with MisFit. Without the technical skills of my 26-year-old daughter, the machine would have either receded or been thrown against the wall. There's no way of knowing how long that particular reboot will take or how difficult the next battery swap will be. I would NOT buy this item again for all of these reasons and the difficulty in finding suitable batteries. The company only has to reimburse me for these batteries because they almost failed - be careful, Revane!
