Review on HDMI to RJ45 Extender: Eanetf HDMI to RJ45 Ethernet Network Converter Over Cat5-e/6 Cable Splitter - 1080p up to 30m/98ft Repeater for HDTV, HDPC, PS4, STB by Sean Chambers

I bought these hoping they would work but with very low expectations. Well they met my (low) expectations! I used 50ft CAT 6 cable for the installation but got nothing. The Cat 6 cable itself works and is in very good condition as I use it for occasional high bandwidth (1Gbps) data transfers on my network. I also swapped the Rx and Tx buttons in case they were mislabeled. (Rx in the projector and Tx in the laptop), the laptop blinks and sees the second display but cannot identify it. There is no video on the projector and the projector does not detect video (the video icon does not appear). If it's swapped (Tx in the projector and Rx in the laptop) it doesn't do anything.
