Review on SOTO Amicus Stove Igniter River by Stephen Cooper

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great stove, the best in Camp Kitchen

Improved burner design and internal piezo ignition is a big improvement over older stoves. I have had problems with other ovens, the outer piezoceramic insulator cracked and closed the circuit. The internal design of this model prevents this. Collapsible potholders are simple and durable. It's also a lot lighter and more compact than my old Primus Techno Trail. The feature I like most about butane stoves is that you can cook at a very low flame level, which is essential for cooking things like Bannock or Trail Pizza. I find that I get the best fuel economy by boiling water on a medium flame. I am very happy with this stove.
