I was very impressed with this light! We finally found exactly what we needed/wanted for our little tank. Our tank is only 5.5 gallons and comes with a lid with 3 small white LED lights. We needed more light. I tried two different lights, one was on the clip, the other on the edges. Both were great but both had too much light and my beta hid from the light. But we really liked our hood. So I decided to give it a try and it's perfect for my planted aquarium! Just the right amount of white and blue LEDs. Makes plant veggies pop and my beta blues pop!
