The capacitive pen tip works well; Ink Pen - #

Touch Screen Usage: Pens look good and in stylus mode work well for web surfing, reading e-books, playing mahjong and general iPad applications. Use of an ink pen: As an ink pen, only about 10 days of use are allowed [total count recorded on 3/4 page during this period]. After that, reliability was questionable. I can write a short note [3 to 10 words] on some experiments. In other cases maybe a letter. Should I try soaking the pen insert in near-boiling water? Comparison: Dollar Store stylus pens write better in ink [still work well after +8 months] and also navigate well on the iPad. Design: I could have used a thinner pen. This one is way too thick and doesn't fit securely in my OtterBox Defender case without loosening or rattling which could damage the screen or screen protector. The pen is too thick to fit in my OtterBox Defender case without rattling. around and may scratch the screen.
