We bought several pairs because they fit well and offer the best coverage. I think they're durable - I toss them in the bottom of my purse and they seem to do a good job. I've never broken a pair and scratched the lenses, but that's my fault. I have issues with other sunglasses pinching my ears and FF sunglasses (these) never did.
