NOT SUITABLE: Computers and accessories

Bought a case for a 13 inch MacBook Pro. The bottom fit perfectly, but the top didn't. I've been trying to work with this for over 30 minutes and am afraid to install it knowing it will scratch my computer. I've seen a lot of great reviews but a few are similar to mine. I think mine is broken. Contacted the seller, got no response. I value good customer service and can accept defects if they are fixed, but in this case it wasn't.
