Would give the product 5 stars but I think the instructions could be clearer and more descriptive. I have used botox hair product alone twice and spent about $100 for a 4 ounce bottle and was skeptical of this product because of the price. After reading all the reviews I made my decision. The product has a very pleasant smell. You must use a clarifying shampoo before using botox which I did 3 washes with. I have had a botox treatment, parted my hair in strands and worn gloves as all botox hair treatments can be very irritating to the skin (and based on my first experience I know this is true). I started at the ends and worked my way up carefully, avoiding the scalp, and when the entire head was covered with the product, comb through and cap to avoid contact with the skin. I left the product on for an hour and a half as I have very curly hair (I mean the shrinkage is severe). I didn't feel any irritation. I washed off some of the excess and it didn't work initially, although I left the product longer as the curls were the same as after any regular shampoo. I think I was expecting the curls to look a little different (which isn't the case. It's not a big deal as I won't be getting rid of my curls, more like a perm and ingredient treatment). I blow dried my hair and got to work with the straightener on the highest temperature that is always recommended and the most important step to set the botox treatment was going through each section at least 10 times and wow. i mean wow The hair looked and felt amazing, not limp or chemically relaxed. My hair was shiny like I put on a serum and I didn't feel great afterward, I looked incredibly healthy so I was sooooo impressed. I did this treatment three days ago and my hair still smells and looks great. Now I don't know why I used to spend so much money for such a small amount, when I was spending a third of what I used to do and consuming a little less than a quarter of a bottle. Highly recommended, there's just no point in spending that kind of money when this product not only did the job but exceeded my expectations without damaging my tresses. If the instructions were more detailed (especially for beginners) I would give 5 stars.
