Realistic expectations

Among the many reviews that this product is not very good, I cannot speak about those that have expired at the time of purchase. However, I tested this before giving it to my 1 year old. It's sweeter than I prefer, but you have to keep in mind that it contains tomato, sweet potato, and pear puree, all of which are sweet. I add salt and pepper to improve flavor, but I'm an adult who has been heavily exposed to salt and expects a certain level of salinity. So while there are no babies, that without outside forces. The quality seems good, if you omit excess salts and spices the taste is really what it should be. I haven't given it to my daughter yet but we'll try and honestly it doesn't matter if she likes it or not because I'll still eat it if she doesn't want to. There's a lot of sauce in there, but I'm going to throw in some frozen pre-cooked turkey meatballs and I don't see how that can't be enough. So if you buy them with the expectation that they're a healthy and quick alternative for your child, then it's worth the money if your child likes the taste enough that you can give them a small meal. They might be considered quite expensive, but in my family it's enough to ease the mental strain of figuring out what to get her for lunch or even a snack for herself sometimes. So try to keep your expectations realistic, and if your baby or toddler doesn't like something sweeter or likes something saltier, maybe buy something else or just make your own changes as you see fit.
