I bought the white and navy to wear in the Texas summer. They're perfect when you need an extra layer or when you just need handy pockets but don't need a jacket or sweater. I use them for errands, but I can also wear them to work. This is the BEST solution for transporting your dog walk. I liked them so much I went back and ordered the gray ones too. Will be black when the weather is a little cooler. Outside there are 2 zipped pockets, which are well reinforced and sewn with piping. They're big enough for me to carry the Note 8 flat on its bottom. There are also 2 open top loading pockets on the inside so there is plenty of room to carry. The bottom hem can be gathered with an elastic buckle that has a clever snap button loop to hold excess elastic and prevent it from slipping under the hem. The elastic band as well as the drawstrings for the pockets and the front zipper are strong and thick. High quality fabric is comfortable and carefree. It's kind of a base style that I always use to layer things. We live in them all summer and all fall. Very happy with the purchase!
