The light looks very nice in my small garden and if you strategically place the solar panels in a spot where the sun's rays hit them during the day, the light will be bright at night . However, the bulbs are very small, which means that these bulbs don't actually produce "light". They are only decorative. The cords are made of very thin copper and are very easy to tangle, but also pinch and twist easily so you can light even fragile plants or trees and they will stay in place. I really like mine but wish they were stronger and gave more real light and not just a nice atmosphere.
