Paint your skateboard bright colors

A nice little upgrade that is easy to add to your skateboard. You'll love how easy it is to install these bright LED lights on your skateboard, but the quality takes some work to get them perfect. I installed it on my 29" long, 9" wide, 1/4" thick carved board as a reference for your board. Pros: Easy to install with just a Philips screwdriver. I don't recommend using it. Required 3 AAA batteries only, not AA as stated in the description cheaply made and works Doesn't hold the batteries well hence the light flickers when driving and also turns off because the battery has come loose from the spring connection (possible solution: Before closing the lid, add a little rubber band over the battery to hold it better?) to try and upgrade. - The receiver box that houses the battery makes a lot of rattling noises, I keep checking and hope the cover holding the battery won't fall off because it doesn't have a screw to secure it.Just slide and click.(Maybe bypass, maybe wrap a rubber band around the box before you screw the board?) Will do next time. - The receiver box has no seal to prevent water ingress when driving through a puddle of water or in the rain. Not that I rain much in Southern California, but I do puddle the sidewalks. - The remote must be pointed directly at the receiver box so you cannot change the color or function while driving unless you lean forward and point the remote to the side and down. Overall this is a great, safe and fun light to drive at night, but does require a bit of fiddling with the receiver box and earbud for loud rattles.
