Review on ION Slam Bluetooth Speaker Black by Carlos Reyes

Update: This thing is a tank. I used it every day of the week for about 6-8 hours a day. He was thrown in and out of my truck multiple times. He was completely submerged in mud, snow and water. Sometimes I turn it on and hide it to scare my kids using my phone as a mic. I lost the charger and bought a universal one, it works perfectly. It was worth every penny. It has been used at 110 degrees and 20 degrees with no problems. I thought the screen was dirty so I tried cleaning it and found there was still plastic on it so now it's shiny again. I really like this speaker. Worth the money if radio isn't your only destination. Passable, but not great radio reception. Bluetooth works great, easy to use and pair. The sound quality is good and quite loud, a bit bass-heavy and a bit distorted at high volumes. Currently the battery life is 20 to 30 hours at volume 2/3 with Bluetooth or radio. Charging the Galaxy S8+ without music drains the battery and only charges the phone to about 75%, so not good for charging and listening to music, either way it doesn't last 2 hours.
