Bought for an upscale service job that required me to have a shirt pocket, which is almost non-existent for women in general. I'm a petite female (5ft 1in, 119lbs, wide hips) so I needed something smaller than the smallest male size. I ordered a size 14. It fits well on the bodice but I can't button the last 2 buttons. Men's/God's shirts are not suitable for women's hips, luckily I have to put the shirt in my pocket to keep it out of view, I've already washed it twice in cold water with a dark detergent, hung up, tumble dried on a damp cloth . to get rid of wrinkles. It's not pitch black, but it does the job.
