Review on ☕ Aigostar 4-Cup Drip Coffee Maker with Reusable Filter and Glass Carafe – Compact Coffee Machine for Home, Travel & Office, Stainless Steel Décor, Black by Amy Johnson

Nice little kettle for coffee, tea and espresso

This coffee machine is almost perfect for me. Its ultra-small profile means it takes up almost no space (in fact, it's smaller overall than my sleek Kuerig imitation and produces more coffee). The coffee it produces is deep, rich and hot. K-cup filters really help avoid a big mess in a reusable filter if you take it apart and don't mind having a few bases over it (otherwise a #2 cone filter will work instead of a reusable filter). A full pot of coffee fills my 24-ounce Contigo mug. My final plus is how charming he is. The top metal front is actually magnetic, so you can stick little notes there with a magnet if you like. My only downside to this product is that it's so light it's difficult to pick it up with one hand or turn off the pan afterwards because it won't stay on. The decanter design needs to be poured in a very specific way or it will "leak", which is not very good when decaffeinated. My final negative isn't really a complete negative because I wanted a small coffee maker as I'm the one who needs it 99% of the time. I was hoping the coffee would be enough to share if a friend came over, but four cups isn't an end product, and three cups is the bare minimum any of us needs. :) Since it is a filter coffee, it takes quite a long time to make a coffee maker. Nevertheless, I can definitely recommend this machine. My coffee's flavor profile is now amazing and knocked my old car out of the park, and its small size means I've got table space back.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • too stupid
