This reminds me a lot of the look Vincent Longos water cushion makeup. This isn't as expensive though, considering it comes with a refill, and I like the compact better. At first I thought the mirror was funny but it's got a plastic liner over it, and once I remove that it was very clear and perfect really.This makeup evens out skin tone beautifully, but I think it's really a makeup for women with exceptionally good skin to start with. I have to wear some serum and moisturizer under it, because if my eyes are dry and have crepe, it will only accentuate that. It seems to accentuate any imperfection really, so well I am giving it a five, because it looks great on me and I love it, I don't think its a makeup for everyone. If you have wrinkles, pimples, or anything really that makes the skin uneven, it can be unforgiving. If you have good skin that just needs the tone evened out, it's be great!I do have good skin as long as it's moisturized, and I normally wear an ivory or buff, or whatever shade is the most Fair, in makeup shade. My skin is very light, especially in the winter. I received the fair in this, and it matches my skin perfectly. The fair is very fair.The yellow compact is pretty though big, and contains a mirror, an applicator, and then under a separate compartment the makeup cushion which is filled with the very thin, watery makeup.When you first apply this it feels very wet but it does dry. It's not heavy.Using this reminds me of putting a water-based wash on a blank canvas. The smoother your face is to start with, the prettier and more even the results.I would recommend this product, but only to women with very smooth skin. Women with acne or deep wrinkles, or advanced cases of crepe would probably do best to avoid this one.
