These loafers are very nicely finished but the pointed toe combined with the bulbous rubber sole makes the carpet sticky, which can cause stumbling for older owners. It was difficult to return them because the person they were bought for didn't want to give them away. This is a very good quality for moccasins, but a squarer toe creates less of a trip hazard. We have found that choosing a size that fits the length and width of the foot results in longer or pointier shoes.
