Don't shave - closer to waxing.

If you're waiting for a replacement razor, this isn't it. It's more like growing, with all the effort and benefits that come with it. If you've tried waxing in the past and thought nothing of it, then this isn't for you. They lost a star from me for misleading it into thinking it was something like a shave. - this little bug too, especially if you have the same thick hair and thin skin as me. Also, it's so expensive. HOWEVER, I had a friend in India who swore by this little device. She is Punjabi and swears she used to have coarse hair. I'm still suspicious of her beautiful (hairless!) skin that doesn't look like she's ever had coarse hair. It has a 20 year old model but the mechanism is the same. She tried it on my arm and I wasn't sure but then she told me the first time was the hardest. It turned out to be true, so I hope the rest is too. I've always had the problem of razor burn no matter what I do. Now all I have to do is make sure the ingrown hairs are resolved and they are pretty straight most of the time. It's pretty cool. As for my wrist, I have dark hair and light skin, so I didn't like some of the hair on my forearm. It's a little compromise on the hands, a bit bright red, but the wrists are great! - I would never shave it for fear it will grow into the skin. Sorry ladies this is painful but compared to razor burn or expensive waxing I agree. I can't bring myself to shrug. Too sensitive. Attention, you have to work with ingrown hairs. But no problem if you do this. Maybe one day I'll come back and update if I end up enjoying it on my feet. I see this as a long-term commitment fueled by my friend's success. Hooray!
