Review on Rockwell Razors Blade Bank Recyclable by Barbara Goodwin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Doesn't work like a bank. Cool logo.

Razor cartridge. The reason for a razor blade bank is to protect used blades. Many of these cans are simply stamped, probably many of them come from the same factory and the companies pay to have their branding applied. To be honest, I bought the Rockwell can because I liked the color and the logo. The bottom lid of this Rockwell jar, like most, has rounded edges. It has notches to grip the edge of the top to keep used blades securely inside. One side of the base has notches directly opposite the rounded edge to prevent the base from snagging on the top cover. There is no way to fix the problem if the rolled edge didn't unroll. This roll cannot be unrolled. The base will not hold and this will cause the glass to sit askew on the counter. Looks bad and doesn't hold the blades properly. The bank fails in terms of security and appearance. The logo still looks good.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
