About the SanDisk Extreme PRO 500GB SSD; up to 1050MB/s read speed** (NOT)

I've used SanDisk Extreme SSDs (1TB and 2TB) before and then bought this 500GB Extreme PRO SSD thinking I'd get about 1000 Reach MB/s read speed, but it's not. Surprisingly, the write speed is faster than the read speed: 913 MB/s write versus 886 MB/s read. With a flexible USB-C to USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 cable and a slim mouse mount, the device is extremely portable.
