I bought it on September 6, 2020. He arrived on September 12th. He retired on October 12. Of course, the return window closed on October 11th. It was just what I needed to drive my new Samsung U28R55 4k monitor to mirror my 2019 16" MacBook Pro's built-in 3072 x 1920 Retina display. I have it on most weekdays from work Plugged into my 2016 15" MacBook Pro (2880 x 1800) to mirror that machine's Retina display (2880 x 1800) and used it for 8 hours, then unplugged my work device and a new personal device for a few more connected hrs. Yesterday I unplugged my work device and tried to connect it to my personal device but nothing showed up on the external monitor. Luckily, my old USB-C to HDMI adapter works through an HDMI cable to connect an external monitor to my work machine, otherwise I'd be even more frustrated than I am now. Two stars because he did what he did, well, for a month. I'm probably being too generous
