I bought these for my youngest daughter's room as her older sister has them but they didn't come with LED coating so we decided to place them outside the window frame, where they wouldn't be a great opportunity to get confused in hopes of not damaging the LEDs. They fit well on the window frame and work with the included remote control. They don't provide an outlet plug, only a USB power cord, so you must have your own USB power plug. Also, my daughter downloaded the app mentioned in the instruction manual but with the instructions in the app we are not able to sync these lights to her phone via wifi or bluetooth so she cannot use the music sync option like she was hoping.
