Pains! I bought these for my 5 year old daughter. They are very cute and look like they would hold up well if she could wear them. She doesn't usually complain about shoes, so I knew it wouldn't be difficult. I sent her to school with it once and she couldn't even walk to the car when I picked her up at the end of the day. My legs hurt and blistered in several places. I felt terrible forcing her to try them. I'm small, these shoes are only good as punishment.
