Ugh, kids are too rough on things, or the gear just sucks. I gave them to my 4 year old daughter for Christmas but didn't use them until recently as she also got another pair. They didn't last a day before the audio either sounded distorted (if they worked) or didn't sound at all. Don't buy expensive baby headphones, try higher quality headphones that will last longer.
