I read the review that said a relative wore this bathrobe over day clothes and decided that I would buy it to do that too. I thought the long length and the hood would keep me extra warm. I got the black in case I should ever accidentally go to the door in it and didn't want anyone to immediately see that I was wearing a bathrobe over my clothes. I bought the L/XL because I thought better too large than too small, but I needn't have worried. I really should have gotten the S/M. I love this bathrobe, and it does seem like a special treat to have to wear during the pandemic when one is stuck at home.
