They are what they are. Great little clips to stick anywhere and attach anything to. But 2 things: 1. The clip is VERY INFLEXIBLE. The original goal was to put a string of lights under the table. When trying to attach the lantern to the rope (whose diameter is the same as the inner diameter of the clip), the clip came loose easily. We ended up using zip ties and just using the hooks as anchor points rather than pulling directly. Bureaucracy, not using glue can be very temperamental. I've lost more than one by accidentally removing the adhesive while trying to remove the foil. Overall this works for what I need,
