If you're on the fence, take it easy! I was initially a little hesitant to order shoes online for my baby as I couldn't try them on beforehand and there were problems with returns if they didn't fit. I'm so glad I bought it anyway. The shoes are true to size. I measured my daughter's feet and followed the sizing guidelines as per the Stride Rites website. The shoes are made from stretchy leather so they don't need to be broken in, which is so important for small feet. I like the tongue on the pull-on shoes. She's currently in between sizes so the tongue ensures the shoe stays secure and her toes still have some room to wiggle and grow. My daughter doesn't really walk on her own yet. She just walks holding hands, and this pair of shoes has a big impact on how "fast" she walks. Hopefully in a few days/weeks she'll be confident enough to take off without me.
