I wear size 34/35. I bought the medium and large as I already knew I would have sizing issues, but I didn't realize the sizes would be that far off. I usually wear trousers/shorts with an elastic waistband. This media doesn't suit me. The big ones hardly fit and because of the velcro you have to take them off immediately when putting them on. We are Americans. So yes, a 30 inch inseam requires an XL waist. So these things are getting to be too much for me. I think that's why you pay more for TNF and Patagonia because they get it right. I will return the two pairs I received and order something from a genuine brand.
