Edit 3: While the outer band has been changed to show inches vs cm/mm as it used to, and no longer provides accurate measurements for what I'm looking for because in my job the device itself is still very easy to use and to measure very quickly and efficiently. The design is very helpful to circle all parts of the body. The retractable knob makes storage and ease of use even more convenient. So I'm changing my second edit rating to 4 stars because it still offers the same ease of use even if it doesn't offer cm/mm on the outer band and I've been very satisfied, not only with my first initial order (which I've placed in forgotten), but I am also very satisfied with the attempts to correct the situation with the support service. The company that offers this product may not be what I'm looking for, but they do offer great customer service and that alone speaks volumes. Edit: 2nd order: I had to order another one as the first one started tearing at the edge where the clasp is. . It eventually tore completely, leaving the tape measure useless. I understand that nothing lasts forever and this review edit has nothing to do with product longevity but with change/inconsistency. As mentioned in my first review, I originally ordered these as the cm/mm on the outer strap was the one I use exclusively. The new one I ordered has inches on the outer band making it difficult to get the exact size in millimeters. It's very frustrating when you have to guess roughly where in the eighth of an inch you measured, turn it over and get the measurement in cm/mm. I'm a personal trainer where size matters. I don't like to guess what my clients have worked hard for. I hope this gets fixed and that the cm/mm band stays and stays on the outside for the most accurate measurement. First Review: I specifically ordered this product as the picture shows that the outside measurements are in centimeters not inches. Nothing against American units of measurement, but this unit of measurement doesn't suit me. I prefer centimeters (like the rest of the world). This product is absolutely wonderful and easy to read and use. The clamp handle comes off too easily, which is probably my only gripe. This part could be a bit tighter so it doesn't slide out easily. To make the product even better, the opening should be double-sided so it can be hooked from both sides and also have a feed button (maybe on the side). However given the cost I'm not asking for a reinvention, this is great for its value. .
