All photos use 14500 battery. I think this is a very good flashlight for the money. When using AA, the high beam is about as bright as the 14500's low beam. It looks very well built and I like the "Dual Beam" lighting mode selection - press to toggle high/low, or press and hold to turn on the flash. SOS. The clip can be moved to the bottom of the flashlight, allowing you to clip the lens in instead of showing it. The light beam is wide and not as focused as the other light source - I've provided a picture for comparison. The light is a bit warmer than all my other LED flashlights and I like it - it seems to give more accurate color lighting. The 0 to 90 degree head movement makes it very versatile, especially with a magnet in the end cap. .The third picture is for comparison purposes and is part number GG0906-7 from Goldengulf. Although it's a good zoomable light and a slightly whiter light, I now prefer the N7 to all other flashlights. For the price, you can't go wrong with the N7. Check out my photos for comparison - the camera was manually adjusted to keep the same settings for each image to give you an accurate comparison.
