Review on HONEYSEW Low Shank 1/4 inch Quilting Foot - Singer 221 Featherweight Part #P60610 with Spring Type by Jessica Lewis

I think my foot may be defective and am hoping a new one can be sent in as a replacement. It fits my featherweight, but the black flange that guides the fabric seems to be bent out and over 1/4 inch. The flange feels loose and separates a little more than the width of the foot, which is 1/4 inch. When the presser foot is lowered, the flange will expand even more and not be flush with the surface of the sewing machine. The blue tape on the machine is 1/4 inch for comparison.
