Bought this primarily as an alternative to face masks during the COVID health crisis. I work in a hot factory and they stay a little cooler than the cotton/fleece masks that were provided to us. When I'm not using it, I can wear it around my neck instead of fumbling around in a pocket to slip my mask in. Colleagues liked them so much he made me order a pair for him too. Fishing. A little tight at first, but after a few washes the fabric loosens up. I would suggest air drying or tumble dry briefly to avoid damage.
