No fluff or stragglers! But the stems break easily, and they're not all as absorbent.
Bought to clean hard-to-reach places in my firearms (gas tubes, receiver slots, etc.), generally they work well. Poles/sticks tend to break, but being so long it's almost never a problem. (Minus half a star for that, though.) The tampon itself is rolled up tightly, which I appreciate because it doesn't leave strands behind, but it also means it's not as absorbent as traditional cotton swabs. (Another half star deduction - there must be a way to split the difference). But overall they are good, I will definitely order more.
