Review on Filmustage by Justin Rasmussen

Great for writers - especially filmmakers

I love that you can break the story up by scene rather than just paragraphs as this makes it really easy to write out my notes from scenes when writing screenplays. Sometimes some of the breaks between scenes are a little long so it does interrupt what i'm doing sometimes but other times there is no real issue with not having them be too short. It's great if working through an outline which allows me to see exactly where a particular scene fits against my outline and how much space it will take up. So far we've managed to use most all of our new toolset and have been able to make good progress throughout each round of edits. There are 2 sections currently that need more work, one being character names, both male/female versions, the second being titles. We're always striving towards perfecting these two tasks! Easy to use software with great support. The ability to upload my screenplay in almost any format is quite useful. There are some features that I would like to see but it's a great tool and well worth the price. So far I have only had positive experiences. I am able to get all the information from my script in one place, which was not possible before Filmustage.
