Not what I expected, better than normal I think but not great.
This soap dish is only slightly better than the regular one as it doesn't stand completely in the water. Insufficient downward slope to allow rapid or complete drainage. It also doesn't have enough weight as it has to be held right on the edge of the sink so what little that drips ends up in the sink instead of onto the countertop and then slides down the sink easily. Not worth the money in my opinion. Requires a design update, slightly taller troughs offering more angles at the bottom.
