I needed some fill lights to illuminate the green screen in the darker areas behind my chair at my desk and I decided to take a chance. these are cheap devices. I am very impressed. At 1000 lumens they are bright enough with 11 brightness levels on the remote. They remember the last brightness setting when they are switched on. The cables are long enough and the switch/control is 3ft from the camera which is very convenient. It's a bit silly that you have to power them with your own USB 5V 2A power supplies, but I have a bunch of these things lying around. In any case, it's not bad for an office setup. I also like that many of the included filters are easy to attach. They can be flat, or by pulling them out slightly from their mounts, the filter can be curved for a wider spread. The filter holders are plastic and I'm not sure they'll hold up in a portable kit, but if treated with care at home they should be fine. Use a small folding table or for individual assembly. Overall I'm really impressed with what I got for the price.
