I've been using this camera for a few months now and I definitely have my likes and dislikes, but overall it's a good camera for the price. Pros: Yes, it works underwater and underwater footage is clear, even the flash works. I give it 5 out of 5 in that area. I've only used mine at swimming pools and water parks so I don't know how the clarity changes in lakes, oceans etc but I get a few compliments on my underwater photos. The camera is also very easy to use in the water and to dry it just needs to be laid on a towel to dry on its own (for pool use). If your main goal is an underwater camera I highly recommend this, but if you are looking for a multi-purpose camera this may not be the one for you. Cons: Normal recordings are a bit grainy in quality. I tried different settings and the main thing I noticed about this camera is the graininess. It's a bit harder to spot in underwater photos, but it's definitely noticeable in regular photos, especially in darker conditions. But even indoors during the day, photos sometimes look a bit grainy/blurry. It works great outdoors in good light, but I'd say it's about a 3 for standard still photography. Overall I've given it a 4. It definitely exceeds my expectations for underwater ability, and if you don't forget to turn the page block the camera should not leak water.
