Made a big mess
Bought this kit to fix some frayed spots on a leather sofa. Read the instructions carefully and follow them step by step. After the final application I waited 15 minutes before pressing down on the grain paper and letting it dry overnight as directed in the instructions. The next day I found that the paper was completely stuck to the skin. When I tried to peel off the grainy paper, a large tear formed. Looking back, I think maybe I should NOT ditch the paper overnight. But the instructions say to press firmly on the paper and let it dry overnight. Very confusing for those who are using this kit for the first time.
