I bought this item to store scarves of all seasons including plaid scarves. Came back just because I needed to find a better solution. I would keep them if they were better suited to winter scarves. Overall this is a great article. It just didn't quite fit what I needed. Pros: - worked surprisingly well for lighter summer scarves - didn't seem to snag on fabric of scarves - hung well in closet without taking up much space (for light scarves) - good construction - basic solid color (white) Cons: - not suitable for heavier ones Winter scarves such as knit or wool scarves. They didn't fit well in the circles (if they fit at all) and as a result they jutted right out of the mount and took up a lot of space in my closet. Also, you couldn't put scarves on every row of holes, which wasted a lot of storage space. Note: I ended up with a ceiling ladder to store my scarves. Unfortunately, it was more expensive to go this route. I used to use a curtain rod with shower hooks to hold scarves in another house where we had a walk-in closet. It was amazing and worked really well if you're looking for an inexpensive functional storage solution.
